Pictures speak a thousand words

When i was young, around 7 years old or younger i think, i remember my uncle gave me an old classic camera to play with. i think the camera was too old or outdated for him, that's why it was given to me, a small kid at that time, to play with. it looked sth like this,

yea, it was an old type of SLR. haha, so, this thing was with me as a toy and i started my "career" as a photographer. lol...the fake and with no license one. haha... it was fun to play with, no film inside and no flash also. but since it was automatic and mechanical, when i pressed the shutter, there will sth inside turning(the roller) to roll the film. then i have to turn the roller manually so that i can take another shot. haha....so i think it was from that time my interest in taking pictures started to grow.

my family was and still is not that wealthy, but thank God everything is sufficient and He has been blessing us a lot, we did own a camera, just a normal point and shot analog camera which i was not allowed to lay hand on( cause too young already). then when i was in standard six, i got to use the camera for class farewell party, which i took a lot of pictures and thus got scolded cause quite a number of pictures did not have any people inside(so called surrounding pics with buildings and trees....).

then when i was in form 2, i got to represent school for some science and engineering camp organized by intel in west malaysia( i'm from east malaysia, thus first time traveling to the west, alone with a teacher.). the family camera was a bit bulky for me to carry around, so borrowed aunty's mini camera to capture some pictures. again, was scolded, and banned from using camera cause took too many pictures of buildings and trees and surroundings instead of me myself or other people. sigh....haha.

then, when i entered university, saved some money and bought a digital point and shot camera for myself.hehe....

Lumix FX09 for the first time. Thank God for the camera and it really served and serves its purpose well. brought "her" along most of the time when traveling and you know, start taking tons of pictures. haha....and really thank God for His blessings that many memories are stored, and when i was going through my collections this morning, i found some pretty ok pictures taken using the camera( i'm just a beginner, so the skill not so good yet...). and here are some of the pictures, please don't laugh and comments are very much welcomed.

ah...some girl, a church senior. someone used my camera to take, so not my work la...but the effect very nice right?

the environment God has blessed us is just so wonderful huh? God indeed is the creator, the almighty, the great composer. haha...and again, no people inside(most of them), if my mum reading this then i would get scolded again. but then, luckily it's a digital camera, so no big deal la....hehe...the quality quite ok, but then, of course if i can get sth like this,

things will be different ler...haha, man, i need to be more grateful....lol...
