Dr Oetker shaker!

I like to eat good food, including desserts and snacks. Therefore, muffins, cupcakes and pancakes are my favourite. I love to try different favours and shapes as well.

Nevertheless, I don’t really like the baking process of these muffins and cupcakes because it’s very tedious and it has a lot of cleaning involved. Besides, baking can be very time consuming especially if you want to make something special and delicious.

However, fear not, Dr. Oetker has offered the shortcut for people like me. As it says, baking is so much fun when you shake by using the Dr. Oetker shaker.

The new Dr. Oetker shaker only requires you to add in milk or water and shake it before pouring the mixture onto any containers or plates for baking! It is as simple as that! Besides, you can customise your shakers by adding any ingredients you like into the shaker and repeat the process of “shake, shake, shake and pour!” For your information, this shaker is 0 Trans fat, a source of fiber, and Prebiotics.

In addition, please enter at the website every day for your chance to WIN a $1200 Visa Card for your next family fun weekend or 1 of 10 Dr. Oetker Shaker fun packs, valued at $30!

I am not sure about others, but definitely I am going to try this shaker. It’s so simple and easy to use! I would use it to bake some muffins and pancakes for my loved ones during their birthdays!

Another saturday outing

Hi people, it was another saturday, and it meant time for having fun right? well, even though i was not feeling that well, i "insisted" on going out with the bunch of interns in KL (touched o not?). and this time we went to 1u for "goods survey". :)

we actually met up for lunch and after "furious" discussion, we ended up in this restaurant.

the restaurant we went to for lunch

the entrance, full of the traditional chinese feeling, with the caligraphy and all....

and of course, the model of the day, guarding the entrance. cool eh?

at the table, flipping through the menu

the drink i ordered, bali with lemon, tasted quite nice actually. recommended for trying.

custard pau a friend ordered, looks nice though.

the fried vege rice with roasted pork slices. not bad...great aroma. haha..

the "tou sa" (red bean) pau...quite delicate looking

the chopstick...quite special with the wordings engraved on it...

and jin ming was obsessed with the flashing guy... *evil grin*

then, for the dinner, we went back to wangsa maju for the famous "tong sui"(dessert) shop. i took some fried noodle with pork chop, egg and also ordered the groundnut porridge.

the shop signboard, next time if u dropping by KL, do come to this shop. :)

the groundnut porridge, very the nice. highly recommended.

that summarised my saturday! :) anyway, too much food caused me more headache afterwards, aiks...but then, it's worth the food! hehe...

Have you ever heard of Mesothelioma?

According to the definition I found from the related websites, Mesothelioma is a form of lung cancer most commonly caused by asbestos exposure. Workers in the shipbuilding industry, construction, auto mechanics, contractors, and demolition are likely to be diagnosed with Mesothelioma due to the exposure to asbestos.

Nevertheless, the manufacturers of asbestos knew about its dangers before they revealed it to the public but they still continue to produce the product for their businesses. As a result, many innocent people are exposed to this dangerous and fatal substance. Generally, Mesothelioma is extremely difficult to be detected during the early stages due to the common latency of symptoms until the more serious stages. Once diagnosed, victims are often estimated to have less than a year to survive. However, those who are diagnosed in the early stages of the disease have the highest rate of survival due to the assistance of medical treatments for the disease.

Although the medical treatments can be very expensive, people who are diagnosed with Mesothelioma can be entitled with reasonable compensation provided they are willing to work with an aggressive and experienced Mesothelioma Lawyer . Because of all these experienced lawyers, many manufacturers of asbestos have gone bankrupt over the years. This can help to stop the production of asbestos and thus reducing the risk of workers getting Mesothelioma.

being a photographer

it's another sunday...before going to church, i was editing some photos to be posted up the blog.

i am not sure why, but somehow as i browse through the photos, a surge of emotion(just a thought actually, not being jiwang k...) sets in. haha...the pics i took were generally ok, although some were really terrible(hehe), the amount was huge as well(LOL), just that something is missing.

haha...yea, that something is basically ME. haha...i am disappearing from all the photos in my camera. lol...what to do right? i am the one taking the pics, how to appear in the pics ler? i guess that's the hard part huh? unless there's another photographer around then can help to take pics. hhee...

anyway, it's always good to be able to capture people's memories, and of course sometimes own's memories through the lense. :P it's a noble job to do right?

back to the jungle...

last weekend, i went back to UTP for a short break as i have mentioned earlier. It's still the same after 5 months, not much changes.

the guard house still there, the Pak Guards and Mak Guards still checking the in and out cars or vehicles.

ohya, the new court was already open for students.
So i walked around alone. it was study week though, so cannot find anyone who would take a walk with me.

found this pair of lonely shoes, abandoned by the master. kind of remind me of someone...lol..

since then, the shoes need to guard the new court.

but then, i guess some giant played on the new court, and earth quake happened. too bad for UTP then. lol...

P/S: i am just too free already... please ignore the post if it doesn't make any sense to u. lol...haha...
