durian lovers, guess what is this? it's the boiled durian with glutinous rice, and it tasted fantastic! really awesome. :)

souvenirs made of rope...

some aeroplane drink?? no idea wat was that, the colourfulness prevented us from trying...

the buddha statues they sold along the street. there are plenty of them.

checking the genuity of the statues.

Bangkok Trip-Day3

Fuh, so many photos and its just day 3, still three more days to go. haha...a bit regret taking so much photos. but then, its nice to edit the photos and review and think back the trip. hehe...

for day 3, we went for brunch then we went to the grand palace for visiting. :) one simple tip when u visiting the grand palace, do wear long pants and sleeve shirts. but then, unless u want to wear the shirts and pants the thai king provided, you can wear shorts and sleeveless shirts! :)

the first and last mosque i saw in thailand. :)

the mango rice. haha...around 20 baht per packet.

the dwarf version of tuk tuk?

the restaurant that sells the pork leg rice. :)

the pork leg rice with vege. very nice and apetizing. cost around 40baht= around rm4.

outside of the grand palace. :)

because of the grand palace is not open to public yet, we decided to go around the palace. this is the tour boat that bring the tourists around the canal for sight seeing.

Tuk tuk

the special lamp post in one of the temples.

the tourists releasing the birds as an act of offering.

feeding the pigeons by the road.

i like this one, the expressions. haha...

a friendly reminder, feeding pigeons is fun, but then be careful of the conwoman whereby she will pass u packets of corns while u enjoying urself. she seemed offering the packets for free at first but she will claim the money from u after u finished up the packets and the price for each packet is very scary. 3 packets can reach 150baht= around rm15. for our case, we didn't pay because of a nice gentlemen advised us to just walk away. haha...then the conwoman went after the gentleman but he got away safely. :D

pigeons everywhere.

entering the grand palace. the entrance fee is 350 baht.

this one is not alive one. :)

the administration office if i am not mistaken.

walking out the gate. :)

i am sure most of u realised about the purple pants that we wore. those are rented from the thai palace cause due to respect and manner, those who enter the grand palace need to wear sleeve shirts and long pants. so for those who didn't wear, we can borrow from the thai palace with the deposit of 100 baht per item. :)
after the grand palace, we went to visit the lucky buddha temple.

some special buddha statue...

the famous giant swing in bangkok.

after that, we paid a visit to the china town! hehe....
the chinatown street view.
