Food hunting in Ipoh

hehe...as the title said, i went food hunting ( of course to visit Aunty Claire as well) last weekend. really ate a lot, until got one friend said i have become fatter just now when i went swimming. hehe...finally some achievement ya ( yea, i have been trying to gain some weight ever since dunno when...)

so...let's start with food in wangsa maju before proceeding to Ipoh. wan tan mee and sarawak made noodles.
wan tan mee
sarawak made noodles(as the shop claimed), erm...looks a bit different, taste also a bit different from the sarawak noodles i know...lol. mebe it's from kuching. LOL....:P

After that, yay...IPOH!!!

first day lunch, yong tau fu...big quantity and filling...

steamed talapia fish
buttered prawns..
some vege(dunno wat's the name...haha..)
la la...
first day dinner...super a lot, and nice also. the seafood very delicious. i think the place is called nam kew, anderson road. it's famous for all the seafood. hehe..
for the second day lunch, we went to this restaurant 1919. it's a restaurant and gallery, very nice and nostalgic place there and it's just behind the Jaya Jusco.
the fried brinjal...looks like french fries only..hehe
the salted egg chicken, super nice, highly recommended.

mixed vege..

yum yum, super nice right? Special thanks to Aunty Claire, Aaron and Fernie for bringing me around to taste all the good food. hehe...next time can capture their picture and post here (actually i got, but need to get permission to post first...). :P Praise God for good weekend. :)

Drool...drool!!! Must go to Ipoh one day and hopefully Aunty Claire will take me to eat all this nice food too.

Btw, when they say it's Sarawak noodles over there, do take it with a pinch of salt. It's ALWAYS a pale imitation of the real thing - maybe nice but somehow, it's not the same!

Have to come over and eat the real thing here! Any plans?
