Penang Eating Trip-First Day

Last weekend was a long weekend due to the Malaysia's National Day. So, i was fortunate enough to join Aaron's family to penang for the food trip. Big thanks to Auntie Claire for willing to bring me around with the family. :)


Lunch at Penang Road

We arrived in Penang in the late morning, after settling Andy's academic stuff, we went to the famous Penang Road for lunch. The food there was actually ok, the laksa, cendol and fried Kuey Teow, but then the place was a bit narrow and crowded. And the shop we went was actually charging RM0.40 each person if we did not order any drinks, quite weird huh?

Dinner at Chili's, Gurney Plaza

Then, for dinner, Aaron suggested to go Chili's for the western food. Supposed to be Aaron's treat but turned out to be Aunty paying the bill. hehe, i think Aaron can pay for next time, right? :P

Price? around rm144 for all. :) a bit more expensive than normal western food but more filling and taste better than the normal western food as well. :) Thank you Aunty Claire for the treat. :D

After dinner, and after shopping a while in Gurney Plaza, we decided to go for supper. :P awesome ya?

Birthday Prank-Toilet War

It's 24th of August, someone's birthday. :) well, whose? and, the most important part, what are we going to do to him? (ok, it's a guy's birthday.)

the engineers are very responsible, we clean up the mess we created. :)

After the cleaning and shower, we gathered in the room for chit chat and more laughters.

NFL Players

It's the football season again. This time around, who will win the Super Bowl championship? There are a lot of predictions and analysis on the net, and everyone has own say on who will win and who will lose this time around. I am the type that gets drown easily by overflowing flood of information especially when comes to the news and stats on the internet.

But I really thank WaiverWire for providing me the organised and reliable information on the NFL.

My favourite NFL players will be Brett Favre from Minnesota Vikings, Chad Pennington from Miami Dolphin and Sage Rosenfels from Minnesota Vikings. Brett Favre is the well known statistically one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. He is the only player won the AP Most Valuable Player there consecutive times which really impressed a lot of fans out there. With him as the crucial player in the team, I am sure Vikings is going to do well this season. From the same team, Sage Rosenfels also plays an important role. He had performed beautifully when he was with Miami Dolphins and also Houston Texans. So, I am sure he will score for the Vikings as well this season. As for Chad Pennington from Dolphins, with over 3000 yards, he is the first after Dan Marino in Dolphins that managed to throw for 3500 yards. For me, he has a bright future in the Dolphins and also NFL.

Graduation 2009

It was the graduation ceremony for all the seniors. So as juniors, by attending the ceremony(even though we didn't get to go in, but at least wait for them to come out from the hall) will be one of the ways to show our appreciation to them.

Due to church service, I didn't make it for the morning session, so would like to apologise to seniors from Civil, BIS and Chemi for not being able to attend your graduation. :) Hope you all don't mind. Anyway, once again congratulations to all of you. I believe it's a great start for all of u in your future undertakings in life. May God bless you all.
