Environmental friendly?

Recently UTP started to use this paper container to pack all the food. It's all over the cafes in UTP and it's charged RM0.20 to the students who pack the food using the container.

It's good that UTP has become environmental-friendly, but then, is it wise to charge the student for the food they pack away? Hope to hear comments from you all. :)

If they charged it without telling u all, then u wouldnt feel the pinch.. haha.. now that they told u, u felt otherwise.. anyway, good idea too..instead of using the what foam, use this instead.. is it really made of paper? best if u bring yr own container to the cafe.. nowadays i use the tiffin carrier to buy food.. :)

im happy to pay the 20 cents. :) compared to cleaning a mountain full of polystyrene. prolly in a lifetime around 100 ringgit? lol.

erm, the thing is, before this did they charge for the polystrene foam? if they did, why are they charging extra for the paper bag again? besides, we don't really know are they really charging extra RM0.20 or more than that.but then, still, it's environmental friendly, and we all play a role.

yea,i agree on the usage of the paper container, but the charging of rm0.20 was rather controversial.:)at first it was RM0.50, then after complaints from students it changed to RM0.20...

Yah it's time to use a more environmental approach. Good change in UTP! Just eat in cafe to save money. hehe...but otherwise,20 cent goes a long way to protecting the environment.
